The gas-turbine locomotive GT1h, for which the LLC ‘RATEP-INNOVATSIYA’ manufactures and delivers the set of the high-voltage cabinets, successfully passed the operational tests and is passing the certification tests in Egorshino, Sverdlovskaya oblast at the moment.
The first production gas-turbine locomotive GT1h has no analogs in the world. The 8500 kW power station works at the liquefied natural gas, which meets all the higher European ecological standards. The locomotive ‘Andrey Pervozvannyi’ is able to carry trains with increased weight and length.
This gas-turbine locomotive is intended for the usage on the non-electrified railroads in the Russia’s Far North regions and Siberia.
